Privacy Notice

This notice explains how pleasantly (“we”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission.
1. Personal data we collect
- Identity: name, suffix, and birth date.
- Contact: email address.
- Residence: unit / address within your community.
- Account & billing: bills, payments, ledger entries.
- Activity: requests, poll responses, amenity bookings, messages.
2. Why we process it (lawful basis)
To administer your community membership, issue and collect dues, handle requests, and communicate with you. Processing is based on your consent and on our legitimate interest in operating the association.
3. How long we keep it (retention)
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Financial records (bills, payments, ledger) may be retained for the period required by tax and accounting regulations.
4. Who we share it with
Your community's administrators, and service providers who help us operate (e.g. email delivery and hosting) under data-processing agreements. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only — a session cookie to keep you signed in and a security token to prevent cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Because these cookies are essential to the service, they are required for the site to function.
6. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to correct, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. You can download a copy of your data anytime from the download icon in your dashboard header.
